Why did we choose not to use teak? Teak wood is rather affordable and resistant but it is very hard to trace its origins.
Since we do not want to risk any participation in illegal logging and deforestation, we chose a more sustainable option: Acacia Wood.
ARTISANAL WOODWORK
Our 100% solid Acacia wood comes from traçable sources. Artisanal woodworking skills of our partners make each piece unique.
The grey colour is obtained with water based colours - resistant to weather but environmentally friendly.
We wanted to preserve the natural raw texture and identity of each piece of wood. This makes every single item unique.
