Table lamp, solid ash, metal & ecru linen, H50

The MAKO table lamp boasts a sculptural silhouette. Its base, crafted from solid ash stained walnut, is carved into four identical rectangular sections, with the wood grain visible on each side. Four metal bands with a brushed bronze finish, set slightly back, separate the blocks at regular intervals and accentuate the base’s relief. The metal contrasts with the warm tones of the wood and frames each section like a piece of jewellery. At the top, the cylindrical shade in unbleached linen contrasts its rounded form with the geometry of the base and diffuses a soft light through its natural weave. An antique brass stem connects the two elements, marking the junction with a metallic sheen.
