Interiors by Episode 10 - Studio Inside
My name is Stella Noula, I'm an interior designer, decorator and content creator specializing in renovation and space planning. I founded Studio Inside in 2017, a practice based between Paris and Annecy, through which I accompany private individuals and professionals in transforming their interiors - in France and abroad.
My approach blends a sense of aesthetics, functional requirements and visual storytelling, always with particular attention paid to the overall coherence of a space. Alongside my work in the field, I share behind-the-scenes information about my projects, decorating tips, before-and-after photos, and inspirations around the art of living and design on a daily basis.
Can you introduce your project? What was the background to the project?
This project was entrusted to me by one of my regular customers, with whom I had already collaborated on several renovations. This time, it involved transforming a Paris apartment into a property for high-end rental.
The main challenge was to find the right balance between aesthetics, comfort and durability, while creating an ambiance that was neutral enough to appeal to the greatest number of people, but with a real personality. I therefore worked on an elegant, timeless base, integrating strong pieces to structure the space, without ever sacrificing functionality, which is essential in a rental property.
What were your inspirations for this project?
I was inspired by Parisian chic: a subtle blend of timeless elegance, classic architectural details and well-measured design touches. The idea was to create a place that was refined without being staid, warm but structured, where every room exudes comfort and good taste. NV GALLERY furniture fits perfectly into this vision, with its contemporary lines, meticulous finishes and sober yet bold aesthetic.
What do you think of NV GALLERY furniture and brand?
NV GALLERY is one of the brands I particularly appreciate for its ability to offer elegant, well-thought-out yet accessible pieces. I love their world, which combines contemporary lines, quality materials and real attention to detail.
Their furniture blends easily into different interior styles, making them an excellent choice for both my customer projects and my personal selections. In this particular project, their pieces really helped to structure the space with character while remaining timeless.
What is your favorite NV GALLERY piece?
My favorite NV GALLERY piece is the FLOWER table. With its organic lines and sculptural base, it's a little something original without overdoing it. I include it in my projects whenever I get the chance, because it's eye-catching yet elegant and easy to integrate. In fact, I'd love to have it in my home one day - it really is a piece that ticks all the boxes!
