Table lamp, solid ash stained walnut & white fabric, H44

The AVAÏA table lamp features a hexagonal column-shaped base, topped by a balloon-shaped lampshade. The base, made from solid ash wood stained walnut, is entirely fluted with fine vertical striations that capture the light and create a graphic texture on each side. Its flat top houses the antique brass socket, whose golden hue contrasts with the warmth of the wood. The balloon-shaped lampshade, made of white fabric, is structured by vertical seams that give rhythm to its surface and soften the diffusion of light. The contrast between the strict verticality of the base and the rounded shape of the lampshade defines the identity of the Avaï lamp. The Avaïa lamp, standing 43.5 cm tall, can be paired with the Avaï table lamp – which is more compact at 32 cm in height – to create a lighting ensemble with two different heights.
