Japandi design

Drawing inspiration from the japandi movement, the lines of our DAWN expandable dining table subtly mix minimalism, practicality and aestheticism. We find on its design a touch of "squircle" - a mathematical shape intermediate between the square and the circle - which allows this model to fit easily into a decor as well as more refined or contemporary. We particularly appreciate its large extendable tray inspiring conviviality and allowing an interesting capacity of reception for the daily life. Because beyond the number of seats, the shape directly influences the space and harmony. The morphology of this dining table, placing its curves between the round and the rectangular, lends it a welcoming character and allows a better circulation in the space. To enhance the sober and elegant naturalness of the DAWN table, associate it with natural and cosy elements will reinforce its warm and timeless spirit.

Extendable table

With the japandi trend focusing on authenticity, the DAWN dining table is naturally and predominantly made of wood - either an engineered wood covered with a walnut-colored, grained ash wood skin. All of our engineered woods have the E1 standard, corresponding to a formaldehyde emission of less than 0.124mg/m3 in the ambient air. Namely, this composition grants more resistance and withstands impacts more easily. DAWN's optimal height and smooth-textured top with clean and even result in a truly functional use, which is the basis of this trend (!). And by the looks of it, its expandable tray offers a larger seating capacity by folding out from 180 to 220cm. Its use is more than simple, you just have to open DAWN {thanks to its inner rail system] to add the extension. We also particularly appreciate its matte finish color allows to bring warmth and depth in the interior without weighing it down. Its base with the sound no less japandi, certifies a good stability for the whole composition. To adapt even more to your interior, DAWN is available in different models.
