The ARLO side table is handcrafted from suar or "rain tree" wood, native to Indonesia. It is particularly appreciated for its for its mode of evolution. It reaches large dimensions, and captures much more CO2 than other species. It was the subject of plantation programs in the 90s, so when it reaches maturity to be harvested, it can be replaced by new suar.
