[NVG] Hi Julien! Can you tell us who you are, what drives you, and what you're working on at the moment?
Hi, I'm Julien Sebbag, a young chef and entrepreneur. Right now, what excites me most is working with two friends on an amazing project that's still top secret!
[NVG] How have this apartment, and especially this terrace, changed your everyday life?
I've always been someone who's constantly on the move. Because of my work and my personality, I used to spend very little time at home. And I was always off on holiday. Now, I hardly ever leave!
[NVG] How would you describe the style of your interior? Where do you find your inspiration?
I'd say it's warm, simple and comforting, with a slightly funky touch thanks to the leopard print and the olive green sofa. My inspiration comes from intuition. I look, I observe, and when something feels right, it's obvious.
[NVG] When you first imagined this apartment and its terrace, did you see them more as a place to live or a place to entertain?
I thought to myself how nice it was to finally be able to breathe in this city. I wanted everything to naturally lead towards the terrace. But I also wanted the interior to stand on its own, because it still has to feel just as good in winter.
[NVG] When it comes to decorating, do you go with your heart or do you take a more thoughtful approach?
I follow my heart when it comes to design. I think things through when it comes to functionality. I don't like overcrowding a space!

[NVG] What's your signature recipe for a sunny summer lunch on your terrace?
A salad with cucumber, fennel, walnuts, avocado, cranberries, mesclun and feta, dressed with toasted sesame oil and rice vinegar.
[NVG] What's your current obsession, whether in interiors or cooking?
I'm obsessed with beautiful cookbooks. They bring both worlds together.
[NVG] Why did you choose NV GALLERY pieces? What draws you to our world?

[NVG] Which NV GALLERY piece is your favourite at home? And why?
I love the chest of drawers in my bedroom. It feels like a hotel room. It reminds me of Soho House. I find that incredibly comforting.
[NVG] You recently adopted a little dog… How has that changed the way you live in your space?
We have to watch where we step because he's a toy Chihuahua puppy and absolutely tiny. There's also a huge dog playpen right in the middle of the living room. And whenever he goes out onto the terrace, he acts like he's discovering the great outdoors. So, in the end, it's pretty convenient for his walks!
[NVG] If you had to sum up your life here in just one word or one feeling, what would it be?
Peacefulness.
