Responsible production

"At NV GALLERY, we've been committed since the beginning to doing our best to respect the planet and the world around us."

We strive to develop a conscientious and cautious approach to production, to avoid overproduction and waste. To this end, our collections are produced in limited, reasoned quantities, and we work without intermediaries with our manufacturers.

  • Choice of suppliers

    Each partner is carefully selected according to our NV GALLERY charter. 100% of our suppliers are audited every year with a score between 75-80% (working conditions, safety, quality of infrastructures, environmental impact).

  • ethical materials

    Our products are PETA-Approved Vegan certified, guaranteeing 100% vegan production. We use no leather, real fur, wool, feathers or down and no other components of animal origin. What's more, we are REACH, E1, ROHS and OEKO-TEX certified.

  • Our commitments

    We have eliminated polystyrene from our sizing, replacing it with biodegradable alternatives such as EPE sprue and cardboard reinforcements. We also favor the use of FSC-certified wood in all our production.

Having no middleman also means that we have the power to build parts that match our values without having to meet the requirements of an external partner. Through our production teams, we can improve products based on feedback from our customers. In this way, we can combine durability with product quality.

A second life for your furniture

NV GALLERY has teamed up with SmartBack to promote the circular economy of its e-commerce returns on the French market.

SmartBack picks up the new or slightly damaged product to be returned from the customer's home, and recycles it locally with one of its 500 partners. This option is currently only available in France.

In France, the furniture is refurbished, resold, repaired, donated, upcycled or recycled around 16 KM from the customer's home.

Returns are managed responsibly, prioritizing the second life of each piece of furniture.
