SEASON 4 - EPISODE 3
At home with Lucía Cuesta
[NVG] Hi Lucía! Can you tell us a bit about yourself, what you do, and where we can find you at the moment?
My name is Lucía Cuesta, I’m a stylist and fashion designer, and I live in Madrid!
[NVG] How would you describe your interior-design universe? Where do your inspirations come from?
My inspiration comes mainly from flea markets; it’s a very eclectic style. I really love mixing different textures and prints!
[NVG] Your interior seems like an extension of your aesthetic universe — bold, curated, and full of personality. How do you express your identity through your decoration choices?
I like to define my style as eclectic. I love mixing old and new; my wardrobe is filled with vintage pieces and it’s the same for my décor — you can really express your personality.
[NVG] Is there a room you’re particularly fond of?
I really love the living room — it’s full of books, comfortable seating, and a large table where you can do anything you want. Sometimes I work from home, so it’s very important for me to have this space exactly the way I wanted it.
[NVG] What advice would you give to someone ready to start their own interior-design project?
You should always plan ahead for where the sofa, the bed, and the dining table will go!
[NVG] What was your vision for this apartment when you first discovered it? And how has it evolved over time?
I like to plan everything before moving into a new home, so we already have a rough idea from the start. I always begin with the living room!
[NVG] Why did you choose NV GALLERY furniture? Do you have a favorite NV GALLERY piece in your home?
Colors and textures are very important to me. I’m totally in love with the UBERTO chairs and the HIGHLAND coffee table!
[NVG] As a stylist, would you say that your home and your clothing style resemble each other?
Yes, of course — in my case, definitely!
[NVG] Tell us about an object or a piece in your home that has a special story.
A photograph of my dog Lea. She passed away a few months ago, and my boyfriend took this last picture of her. It’s now at the center of the living room.
[NVG] If your home could speak, what would it say about you?
“Thank you for making me so cosy,” and also, “Stop buying so many things, I can’t breathe anymore!”
