[NVG] To start, could you tell us a little more about yourself, your background and what you do today?

My name is Anna, better known as “Disruptive Beauté” on social media. I'm passionate about beauty and cosmetics, a world I explore and analyse every day. But I'm also a huge fan of fashion, architecture, interior design and home decor.

[NVG] How would you describe your interior style? And what are your main sources of inspiration?

My apartment has a minimalist style. I grew up in a house filled with knick-knacks, and I think that experience led me to develop a preference for the complete opposite. Today, I love simple, uncluttered spaces that still feel warm and welcoming.

[NVG] When it comes to decorating, do you tend to follow your heart or think things through?

It's a mix of both! On the one hand, there's that instant love at first sight for a statement piece you find incredible or iconic and immediately feel you need in your home. On the other hand, there's the practical side: asking yourself whether it fits in with the rest of your decor, whether it will stand the test of time and whether it's practical for everyday life. It's all about finding the right balance while still allowing yourself to fall in love with a piece. My sofa is the perfect example: its colour, dimensions, texture and material made it an obvious choice.

[NVG] Is there a material, colour or shape you never get tired of?

One material I never get tired of is chrome. It's a material that ages beautifully and works with any interior style or atmosphere. Chrome instantly adds a touch of energy to a space, almost becoming the focal point of the room.
