The design of PLATON is the result of an intermediate work between the armchair format and the improved pouf format. In this space, which is intended to be warm, PLATON dares to take a playful, highly technical but above all innovative approach to this occasional seat. An approach that aims to be representative of the call for cosiness, while seizing on an inspiration parallel to the Italian retro - marked by an aestheticism crossed with unlimited fantasy. Playing on the diversion, this armchair with its interesting format and its welcoming curves typical of the pouf, proves to be easy to integrate into the interior of the house.

Cosy colorama

Curls, curls, curls,... ! Visually PLATON activates the cosy mode thanks to the star material of these last seasons, tinted by a colour palette similar to the cocoon: beige or grey. The combination of these materials inevitably makes it a charming addition to any living room, where you can relax. Its seat, modelled on the comfort of the footstool, conceals a solid eucalyptus wood structure. The curved backrest supports the lines of the back, and the exposed wooden parts can be seen. The idea here was to use ash wood in small steps to upgrade the traditional pouf seat and give it a refined dimension. The 4 legs, equipped with protective glides, curve under the seat when the wood blends with the backrest, to obtain an unloaded and almost aerial result.

Good to know: the seat height of 44 cm will allow you to combine PLATON with a dining table if necessary. You will be able to maximise its function as "auxiliary furniture", where it can be used as a table armchair, a side chair or an improved pouffe.
