- Hello Pauline, can you introduce yourself?

Hello, I’m Pauline, I’m a content creator. I am passionate about fashion, beauty, decoration, travel, meetings and I try to transcribe all this through my Instagram account and my blog. In parallel, I created my swimwear brand, ILIOS, born from my love for summer, light and the Greek islands and especially, my passion for fashion and swimwear.

- How would you define your interior style?
What are your inspirations?

A clean, minimalist style with spaces that breathe. Light tones, warmed by walnut and/ or touches of color. My inspirations are quite broad, they come from my travels most of the time. I love everything that is mineral as well as contemporary design.

- What is the link between your interior and your style?

Less is more. Never overdo it but acquire the right durable pieces that you can mix endlessly without ever getting tired of.

- How did you think about the design of your apartment and the spaces?

To be able to have spaces 100% to our liking, we chose to make all the furniture of the custom-made apartment, from the corridor to the dressing room, through the bedrooms and the kitchen. Most important: I wanted a large living room with an open kitchen to be able to regularly accommodate people and not be isolated in the kitchen when I receive. The central island is really one of the elements that I prefer because it is where we meet with my family, my friends to remake the world at the same time as I cook. Then for the master bedroom, I wanted a cozy, clean but warm space. For that, the lime wall and khaki linen sheets warm the whole room.

- What place do you give to interior design in your daily life?

It’s so important to feel at home, to create your own cocoon. For me it goes through an interior that resembles us, with beautiful pieces. It’s important to take the time to find the right piece that will make me feel even better at home.

- Have you found many pieces at home? What is your relationship with vintage?

I love vintage, but I don’t know how to find beautiful pieces. I know it takes a long time, you have to know what to look for, where to find it and I have no patience at all and yet, I tried! But it’s a shame because I love the idea of telling myself that the room has already lived a history before belonging to us, it gives a lot of charm and character to a more contemporary interior.

- What do you like about NV GALLERY? What is your favourite piece?

I like the fact that I can find designer furniture at affordable prices compared to what is found in the design market. The pieces are timeless, the inspirations always give envy. The collections are produced in small quantities to avoid overproduction. Regarding my favorite room, I hesitate between the small PLATON armchair that I have in the room, I love its rounded lines, its very cozy seat or the coffee table PALETA in solid wood.

- What is the design piece you couldn’t live without at home?

My sofa without hesitation. It is the centerpiece of the living room and the very first that we bought the day we signed the apartment.

- What is your typical day? How do you manage your different activities?

I do not have a typical day, with my job, no day is the same and depending on the times of the year, it can vary. But if I were to try to define a typical day, in the morning I take time for breakfast, I really need this to wake up well and I respond at the same time to all my Instagram messages and comments. Then I process my emails and the day is linked and revolves around meetings with brands, shootings, lunches with a girlfriend or my collaborators. Then I go home, I process the emails, the content, I send everything for validation. I plan my editorial schedule according to my publication schedule. In the evening I often have diners or events but it varies according to the periods. I always try to keep myself a minimum one or two nights at home with my boyfriend for a romantic dinner, a good series. And in parallel I manage ILIOS, my brand of jerseys, so a lot of back and forth with the factory, suppliers, my stylist but I am associated with my boyfriend so it’s a great adventure for two.

- What is your current obsession?
A book, a website, a film, an address, a recent discovery… that you would like to share with us?

I love to read, but I can only take the time on vacation or on the plane!
And at the moment, I decided to take the time to read every night to stop going to bed right after the screens. My obsession of the moment: Intuitio by Laurent Gounelle, an author I love, who fascinates me by his optimistic vision of the human.
